Find your next favourite artist on the Serious Sounds playlist.

We’ve curated our monthly Spotify playlist for you featuring new music from Canada’s next biggest stars.

If you’re here exploring this blog, then I’m sure you’re that person in your friend group who’s always putting people onto the hottest new tracks. Be sure that SB’s got your back in that mission!

This month, you’ll find tracks from some of our faves in r&b, hip-hop, electronic, and dance music. Here’s my personal stand out artists on Serious Sounds:

“Video Games” by Sun

From Montreal, I can’t get enough of Sun’s debut track “Video Games.” It’s got such a cool and haunted beat that pair incredibly with Sun’s sultry r&b vocals. Mad catchy!

“Siento Mi Destino” by Keys N Krates feat. Lido Pimienta

This track is just so fun, so dancey, and so WARM! Exactly what you want to hear in the club on a chilling Canadian Friday night. Find this track on Keys N Krates newest album Original Classic.

“Thinkin’ Bout You” by Prince Amine

Just when you thought you knew what an artist could deliver, someone like the super badass hip-hop/r&b artist Prince Amine releases an ultra smooth love jam. Another Montreal Native, Prince is giving me all the feels in this one.

“Honey” by Amaal

If you’ve been creeping around Toronto’s underground scene for a couple years, you absolutely know Amaal. She’s been grinding our incredible tracks and top-notch visuals to match. “Honey” is one of fave tracks off her album Milly.
