TD Toronto Jazz Festival: Smokey Robinson

June 28 @ 5:00 pm UTC-4

With over 4,000 songs to his credit, legendary singer-songwriter Smokey Robinson continues to push the envelope of an over 50-year career. Once referred to as “America’s greatest living poet” by Bob Dylan, Robinson created hit after hit for influential Motown acts such as The Temptations, Mary Wells, and Marvin Gaye, among many others. Robinson is famously known for his roles as co-founder and frontman of The Miracles, as well as Vice President of Motown Records. Inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1987, Smokey Robinson’s music continues to be celebrated by sold-out audiences worldwide to this day.
